Gwendolyn has a wide variety of experiences and degrees which, help mold her teaching at the studio! She has a Master’s Degree in Music Education & Bachelor’s Degree in Bassoon Performance from Capital University, and an Ohio Teaching License. In Columbus, Ohio, she taught for 8 years in a variety of roles in K-12 teaching, including general music and choir. She also served as the director of music for a Catholic parish for 5 years.
Her passion is making music accessible to everyone, regardless of their income, age, ability, or neurodivergence. Each student is a puzzle to unlock and discover!
When she is not in the studio, she can be found homeschooling her children, working in the garden, crocheting, or boxing!
Teacher - Sundays
Brianna is a Columbus-based mezzo-soprano and music teacher. She received her B.M. in Voice Performance from Ohio University, Throughout her undergraduate career, she performed several major roles with Ohio University Opera Theater (including Jo March in “Little Women” and Armelinde in “Cendrillon”) and sang with the Ohio University Singers, serving as Vice President of the latter organization for two consecutive years. She also worked as a section leader and soloist at First Presbyterian Church of Athens, Ohio from 2022-2024. Most recently, she served as music director for Lost Flamingo Theater Company’s production of Heathers: The Musical.
Before college, Brianna attended St. Francis DeSales High School and graduated with the Class of 2020. It was there that she met longtime teacher and mentor, Gwendolyn Rehm. In addition to her musical background, Brianna has over six years of experience babysitting for families in the Columbus area (including the Rehm family)! Over the years, her passion for fostering the development young minds has become intertwined with her love of music. She is ecstatic to be joining Rehm Music Studios as a teacher!
